How do I get camcorder tape onto computer? - tape to computer
Okay, so I have a Sony Handycam DCR HC30E / S and I have something on the tape, not that I edit on the computer. I need ways of connection. I use a FireWire or USB. I do not know if the FireWire works.

If the camera and the computer USB port, you can video content using the software supplied with the camera via the USB port. If the device does not come with the software, you can try to visit download.com and search for video software.
1. To StashSpace.Com and registering for an account to receive your free software called Stashbox. http://www.stashspace.com
2. Connect your camcorder to your computer via a FireWire cable and turn on the camera.
3. The computer recognizes the camcorder is connected and raise a new unit that make you the wizard.
4. Click on the icon Stashbox (Orange B, start with an inner S) Stashbox.
5. Click the "Add the optional video video camera and start capturing your video.
